Okay, we have all heard and made fun of the line, “Not tonight honey, I have a headache.” The fact is this could very well be totally legitimate at some point and not just a joke. I came across a very interesting article from Self.com titled “The Bizarre Side Effect 1 In 100 People Experience During Sex” written by Zahra Barnes that explains this and what it is.

The article is very thorough and detailed and explains why, and how, this can happen to couples when they engage in sexual relations. What was quite surprising was the fact that this side effect applies more to men than it does to women. Rather than reprinting the entire article, I have provided you with the link to this article so you can go check it out for yourself. The article is very informative, educational and could answer some questions a lot of couples may have but for any number of reasons won’t discuss openly with their partner or doctor.

So while we have all heard and made the jokes and had a laugh or a shake of the head, it really is a serious problem that effects more people than you might think. It could very well be the reasons some couples sex lives are not what they would like it to be. Now there is an answer, or at least a possible answer, to what one of the problems could be and what might be done to fix it. The fact that it is 1 out of 100 is really quite alarming when you think about it and is a lot more serious than something to just poke fun at.

So take the time to read this article, and if you are one of those 1 in 100, now you may have the answer as to why it occurs and what you may be able to do. You also will have a better understanding about it if it is your partner who goes through this sex headache problem. Good luck.
