The bar and nightclub industry came out in force Wednesday morning May 20, as owners, managers, DJs, waitresses, entertainers, bartenders, bouncers and door girls came out in force to protest the fact that bars and nightclubs cannot legally open in the State of Florida.

“It isn’t fair that hairdressers, gyms, retail stores and bowling alleys can open but we are singled out. We are capable of social distancing and abiding by the rules. We can’t work at home and we need to get back to work”, was the statement made by many attendees.

A crowd of over 200 people showed up in front of the Pinellas County Courthouse in downtown Clearwater and another large group did the same thing in Hillsborough County. The event was covered by all local media including BayNews 9, Fox 13 and ABC Action News. Here are a few photos that were taken by NightMoves Magazine.
