The world is full of company names, sayings and ideas that are not spelled out. Abbreviations are everywhere and it’s amazing how many we see but have no idea what they stand for. An example would be IRS. I would venture to say that 99.9% of you know that stands for Internal Revenue Service … Every state has a two letter abbreviation (NY = New York, FL = Florida, OH = Ohio) and today in the social media world abbreviations have become a part of our everyday communication. Letters like LOL … BTW … BFF … GR8 … and WTF are used on a daily basis. The title of this blog is ETC … ETC … ETC … that three letter abbreviation stands for the Latin phrase “Et Cetera” that  means “Other Similar Things”. In this article, I’m going to go a bit “old school” so see how many of these 20 abbreviations you know:
