There was a time when that was THE catch phrase because just about everything was made here. But over the past fifty years that has changed. In recent times some of these companies were bought and taken over by China, Hong Kong, Tiawan, Germany, Switzerland, the UK and more. Some companies still maintain offices here but outsource the making of their product to other countriesBut there are still plenty who have never left the country or outsourced their production to other countries. Now, at a time with what is going on in Ukraine with Russia and the big problems we have here, made in the USA means more than ever.Here are some companies that still continue to produce only in America. I found a list of 75 plus companies that are still completely and totally all U.S.A.
Here are just a few of them and I will bet that you have some of these products in your own home. I know we sure do.
Weber Grills – This company has been going since 1952 and still makes all of their product from their factory in Palantine, Illinois.
Wilson Footballs – They have been the official supplier of footballs to the NFL for years. They are handmade in their factory in Ada, Ohio.
Kitchenaid Mixers – This company has been producing mixers of various kinds for over 100 years from their flagship plant in Greenville, Ohio.
Vizio Televisions – Founded in 2002 they are based in Irvine, California and are completely US made. They also do computers and laptops.
Airstream Trailers – This company has been around since the 1920’s and first introduced their famous trailers in the 30’s. Today they are still totally manufactured at their plant in Jackson Center, Ohio.
Crayola Crayons – This company y started back in 1903 in Easton, Pennsylvania and has become The name in coloring tools for children of all ages. The Crayola products are still made in total at their plant in Easton, PA.
Stetson Hats – This company was begun right after the end of the Civil War and today is the only maker of western hats that are all American made. The Stetson plant is not in Texas, but in Philadelphia.
Zippo Lighters – This company began in 1933 in Bradford, Pennsylvania. Today the Zippo brand and their many other variations are still manufactured at the same Bradford plant.
Igloo Coolers – probably the most well known ice chest/cooler there is. It began in 1947 and today is still totally made at their factory in Katy Waller County, Texas.
Cutco Knives – Founded in 1949 they are the largest manufacturer of kitchen knives and other kitchen utensils. It is all totally American made in their factory in Olean, New York.
Martin Guitars – One of thew most famous names in guitars Martin has been around since the 1800’s. Every martin guitar is completely USA made from their factory located in Nazareth, Pennsylvania,
Those are just a few of the great products that are still made in the good ole U.S.A. and there are many more.
