TAMPA, FL (AUGUST 15, 2020) – Live online voting for the The 28th Annual NightMoves Awards starts Saturday morning August 15th and will run until Thursday October 15th. Here is the national list of nominees that are found in 17 different categories ranging from “Best New Starlet” to “Best Feature Production” to “Best Director”. NightMoves gives out two awards in numerous categories … a “Fan’s Choice” winner and an “Editor’s Choice” winner. You can cast your vote by going to www.NightMoves.xxx! Winners will be announced on Sunday November 8, 2020.
The NightMoves weekend, that usually features stars flying in from across the country to spend a long weekend in beautiful Tampa Bay, Florida has not yet been canceled despite the Covid-19 pandemic that has shut down the majority of all awards shows and gatherings.
“The NightMoves Awards are the first awards show to have fans vote, the first to use internet voting and we created many categories that are used industry-wide. We are not yet prepared to cancel our “Star Caravans” or live show. If there is a way to get ahead of this virus, safely bring in a few stars and do a live show, we will do what we can to move forward”, said Paul Allen owner of Nightmoves Magazine.

NightMoves Magazine started in 1988 and the first NightMoves® Awards, happened in 1993, is the third oldest and continuously running adult awards show in the United States, trailing only the AVN Awards and the “industry only” XRCO Awards. To be considered eligible, a movie had to have been released between June 16, 2019 and June 15, 2020. Individual Awards are also based on this same time frame except for those in the “New Starlet” category, whose performances between January 1, 2019 and June 15, 2020 qualify.
Fans and industry people are able to log their votes for their favorite adult performers, directors, films, and all categories at: www.NightMoves.xxx.
Local (Tampa Bay) people vote for their favorite clubs, video stores, dancers, bartenders and DJ’s also at: www.NightMoves.xxx.
The voting period runs from August 15, 2020 to October 15, 2020, only vote allowed per IP address and a legal ballot must have votes in at least 6 categories. Winners will be announced Sunday November 8, 2020.
The NightMoves® Awards were the first to allow fans to select their winners, making it the original Fan-Based Awards, as well as the first awards show to allow on-line voting. In addition to the Fan Awards, the show presents Editor’s Choice awards, based on reviews of movies in which nominated performers have appeared.
The NightMoves® Awards are more than a one-night awards show; it is a fun-filled, exciting, ultra-busy weekend that includes “Star Caravan” events at local nightclubs Thursday-Friday-Saturday evenings. The weekend also includes “FanFest Expo” where stars sign autographs, take photos and sell merchandise along with multiple radio and online appearances. The show itself is held Sunday evening with stars departing Tampa Bay on Monday.
